Flex-eSuite Features

No Programming Required

Designed with the information centric approach and backed by years of resarch at Techon Dater, the Flex-eSuite is a plug & play tool with wizard based functionality to display and represent your information as trends, gauges, mimics, tables and scrollers and reports. No seperate Develoepment and Runtime Mode.

No Database Server, No SQL

Flex-eSuite archives its information (not exactly as other hisotrian) in the embedded SQLite database and doesn't require user to purchase any Database Server and write SQL for converting real time data into user information.

Interoperatbility & Integration with OPC

Flex-eSuite is  an OPC client and communicate with OPC servers for online data acquisition from device. This provides plug & play like device connectivity with most of the popular DCS, PLC, SCADA, drives, data logger and other devices.  It simultaneously connects to any number of devices with different protocol support.

Information Building with Flex-eTags

Flex-eSuite employs innovative technology to map time stamped data to interval information using Flex-eTags (it an intellegent hisotrian or information logger). Logs & Archives information as Flex-eTags. Information includes Max, Min, Average value of instantaneous data, consumption value of incremental data, On/Off time of state data. Derives Rate Information from consumption and vice-versa.

Online Monitoring with Trends, Gauges, Scrollers and Tables

Flex-eDisplay, the online monitoring module of the Flex-eSuite, is a  wizard based tool for creating trends, gauges, scroller and table. This tools eliminates any user programming and allows to create new display on the fly. User can select update dead band as well as refresh rate. Multiple displays can be opened at the same time.

Wizard Based Reporting

Innovative reporting engine with Graphical (Bar & Line) and Textual Reporting. Facilitates Auto Formatting of Printed Report. Time Zone and Condition Based Reporting. Allows creating virtual tags as an expression of a group of tags. Allows defining multiple time zones and create one or more groups of time zones. Aggregates interval data to Time Zone. (Native and Non-Native both supported). Suitable for comparing shift-wise information or displaying information of specific time zone.

Native and Non-Native Aggrigation of Interval Data

Aggregates informative Flex-eTag from base interval to higher intervals. 1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minute base intervals are supported. Hourly (1, 2, 4, 8 Hours), Daily, Weekly and Monthly aggregation is supported. Supports Non-Native Aggregation to derive information such as Maximum Demand, Min or Max Consumption etc.

Flex-eSuite Modules

  • Flex-eDisplay, for online display of time-stamped data as trends, gauges, text, scroller format

  • Flex-eTSLogger, for archiving time-stamped data

  • Flex-eLogger, for building information from time-stamped data and then archiving it as interval information.

The Flex-eManager provides you full control over the way you want to use the suite.

  • Online Defines your plant as an hierarchy of information

  • Uses innovative Flex-eTags to support time-stamp data and Interval data

  • Allows creating Time Stamped Flex-eTags for viewing instantaneous online values

  • Allows creating Interval Flex-eTags for converting time-stamped data to interval information such as max, min, avg, rate, consumption, state on/off time, count.

  • Distinguishes devices and information with each other; devices are data points and Flex-eTags are information points

  • Define OPC tags as data point, and map these data points to the Flex-eTags

  • Maps data points to information points; and if data points change, there is no effect on information

  • Allows defining Time Zone, Units, Conditions to suite your specific requirement
